I AM THE BEYOND

You are all Eldritch Entities that have lived for an eternity beyond the confines of physical space.

Until now.

Somewhere on a distant world, you can hear the rhythmic chanting of your name drawing your attention. As your forms move through dark matter to reach your destination, you find willing hosts waiting for you to bring about your desires. However, you are faced with a quandary! On one hand, your alien powers do incredible things but they make you hungry and each host looks rather delicious! On  the other tendril, staying hidden in the host’s mind for too long  might bind you in the host body, leaving you only able to do mundane things like… Eat… and do taxes… 

I AM THE BEYOND is a tabletop role-playing game meant for 2-5 players with a Game Master (GM) running the game. It draws inspiration from both the horror and comedy genres.

In one game, you could be playing faceless abominations who have taken over a group of helpless humans and are hellbent on destroying all of reality to reshape it as you see fit. In another game, you could be laid back ancient things trying to figure out exactly what the deal is with humans and why they have bones. Or it could be a perfect blend of the two.

If you are looking for a simply 3 page game where you can be strange, oddly terrifying and still have a few laughs, this might just be the game for you!
